Flood obstructs Hetauda-Kathmandu road section

HETAUDA, Sept 18: Vehicular movement has come to a halt on the Hetauda-Kathmandu road section due to the flood at Baghjora along the Tribhuvan highway.



The flood was caused by incessant rainfall Saturday night, the District Police Office, Makawanpur, said.[break]



According to the Office, necessary measures have been carried out to control the flood. It is expected that the flood could recede with the improvement in weather.



Vehicles plying towards Kathmandu from Hetauda and vehicles coming from Daman and Palung have been stranded at Baghjora, according to police sources.
