Five youths go missing in Trishuli River in Chitwan

Tanahu, June 15: Five youths have gone missing in the Trishuli River at Kurintar in Chitwan late Saturday afternoon. [break]



Four girls and a boy from Chitwan had gone to Kurintar for swimming in Trishuli River. According to SSP Durga Bahadur Kunwar at the Armed Police Force Disaster Training Management Centre in Kurintar , five youths went missing while trying to rescue one of their friends, who had been missing in the river.



The missing youths, aged between 18-20 have been identified as Rajani Regmi, Manisha Regmi, Asmita Regmi, Liza Regmi, and Janak Rawat. Luckily, one of their friends Sushant Regmi, saved his life as he was sitting on the bank of the river while others went for swimming. The police personals and locals have been searching the missing youths.
