KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the current five-party alliance will remain intact for the full term of parliament. 


Talking to media persons upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport from Glasgow, UK on Thursday, PM Deuba said that the current coalition government will remain intact until the upcoming elections and that there is no question about it. “The coalition will stay united for the full tenure. There is no doubt about it,” he said.

PM Deuba, who is also the President of Nepali Congress (NC), said the five-party alliance consisting of Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), and Rastriya Janamorcha (National People’s Front) will work together for the cause of people and nation.


Prime Minister Deuba had left for Glasgow on October 29 to attend the global conference leading a Nepali delegation. PM Deuba returned home on Thursday after attending the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Glasgow of the United Kingdom on November 1-2.
