The three South Korean drug couriers, aged between 40 and 52, had flown into Singapore on Saturday and had checked into a hotel in Bugis before meeting a Nepalese drug coordinator.

The drug bust was a joint operation between CNB and the Police Intelligence Department.

All eight men are unemployed and will be charged with exporting a controlled drug. If convicted, all may face the death penalty.
