Fire in a furniture industry causes loss worth over Rs 3.5 million

MAHOTTARI, Apr 9: A massive fire that occurred at a furniture industry of   Matihani-8 in the district caused huge losses on Monday night.

It is said that property worth over Rs 3.5 million was lost as a result of the fire that engulfed Bharat Furniture run by Dukhmochan Thakur.

District Police Office, Mahottari said that the fire occurred at 10 PM on Monday.

Furniture and other raw materials in the industry were destroyed in the blaze. Separate teams of the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police and locals along with a fire engine extinguished the blaze.
