Fire guts property worth Rs 550,000 in Mahottari

GAUSHALA, May 4: Property worth hundreds of thousands of rupees was destroyed by fire at Damhi Madai VDC in Mahottari district Sunday night.

According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, the property was gutted after cowsheds of Ram Padartha Sah and Ram Swartha Sah of Damhi Madai VDC-7 caught the fire.


Superintendent of Police, Shaurav Rana, said that property worth Rs 550,000 was gutted after the fire destroyed four cattle, food grains, clothes, among others.

The cowsheds caught fire from the mosquito coil burnt in front of the cowsheds. RSS
