Fire guts property over Rs 15 million in Jhapa

BHADRAPUR, Dec 28: Property worth over Rs 15 million was gutted by fire at Mechinagar-10 in Jhapa district. 

Twenty houses were completely damaged while two other houses suffered partial damages in the fire. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Kakadvitta, Mahesh Thapa, the fire was started from the house of Chhabilal Limbu on Thursday night. 

Different relief materials including blankets, tents, utensils, and cash were provided to the victim families.
