Fire guts equipment worth Rs 10 million

HETAUDA (Makawanpur), April 21: A fire broke out at the godown of local resident Dhirendra Shakya at Hetauda Municipality Ward No 10 on Thursday morning, destroying electric equipment and other materials worth around Rs 10 million.

Ply wood and a motorcycle among others were burnt down. A short circuit is blamed for the blaze.


The fire was doused around three hours later with the help of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, local people and two fire engines, police said. RSS
