Fire guts Durga temple

GAUSHALA, Oct 3: A Durga Temple constructed for Durga Puja at local Mahendra Chowk of Jaleshwor in Mahottari district has been destroyed by the heavy fire on Monday morning.



District Police Office said that all idols of goddesses were burnt in the fire.[break]



It is said that the temple was caught with fire due to the electric shock. The temple was constructed by investing a hefty amount for the Dashain purpose, locals said.
