Fire engulfs Banke factory

NEPALGUNJ, Feb 6: Goods and raw materials worth approximately five million rupees were destroyed by a fire that broke out at the Ganga Rosin and Turpentine Factory at Ganapur-7 in Banke district on Tuesday afternoon.



The District Police Office, Banke stated that the huge fire gutted rosin and processed materials as well as the factory building.[break]



The fire was brought under control in about an hour by locals and the police with the help of the fire engines.
