KIMATHANKA, Jan 27: Property worth Rs 2 million was reduced to ashes in a fire that occurred at Limdusana of Makalu rural municipality-2 in Sankhuwasabha district on Friday.
The fire razed down a house of Phudorche Sherpa, said Chopal Sherpa, Chairperson of ward no 2, adding that fire perished all goods in the house.
The blaze raged all of sudden from the fire used for cooking last night. It destroyed jewelry, food grains, Rs 200,000 cash, and garments among others, informed ward Chairperson Sherpa.
