URLABARI, Morang, Oct 23: Property worth Rs. 6.7 million was destroyed in a fire that destroyed the house of Bhupendra Karki in Miklajung rural municipality-5 last night. 

The two-storey house caught fire reportedly due to a short circuit at around 7:00 pm yesterday. Cash and kind including ornaments and other goods and cereals were gutted in the fire. 

Fire tenders from Sundarharaicha of Morang and Damak of Jhapa with the help of the local residents put out the fire after two hours, police inspector at the Area Police Office, Urlabari Chandra Bahadur Thapa said.
