The Mumbai based housewife, Anjali Palan has accused Sunny Leone of destroying Indian culture and promoting porn videos on her website sunnyleone.com. The 30 year old who also works for the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has also taken action against those who have uploaded these videos on the website. Senior Inspector Sunil Shivarkar confirmed that they indeed found the content on the website objectionable. On the other hand, Joint Commissioner of Police, VV Laxminarayana of Thane region stated that as of now they aren't taking any action and the case has been handed over to the cyber cell for further investigation.
Sunny Leone and others have been charged under section 292 (obscene and indecent advertisement), 294 (for printing obscene matter), IT Act's section 67 (publishing/transmitting obscene matter in electronic form), Indecent Representation of Women Act's section 3 and 4.
Reacting to all the allegations, Sunny Leone's husband Daniel Weber, firmly maintained that they haven't received any details on the case but if there is a case, then their attorney will handle the same.
