KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel has formed a committee to draft the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26. He has formed the budget writing committee under the coordination of Shree Krishna Nepal, Head of the Ministry's Budget and Program Division.
The committee includes Foreign Division Chief Dhani Ram Sharma, Revenue Division Head Uttar Kumar Khatri, Administration Division Head Than Prasad Pangeni, Inland Revenue Department Deputy Director General Tirtha Chiluwal and Joint Controller General Sushila Aryal.

The committee has been given the responsibility of determining budget principles and priorities, facilitating the prioritization of ministry-level projects, preparing draft budget statements, and submitting suggestions on policies and programs.
