KANCHANPUR, Dec 23: The Shuklaphanta municipality office has granted a relief amount of Rs 218,000 to 109 victims of tuskers' rampage in and around municipality area.
The relief amount of Rs 2,000 each was provided on Friday to the families whose houses were dismantled and crops were destroyed by tuskers.
The municipality has also provided amount to the victim families of wards 1,3,5,6 and 7 to purchase seeds of different crops, said Municipal Chief Dil Bahadur Eir. RSS
