KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The final hearing on the case against rape-accused cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane is being held today.
Earlier, the final hearing was said to be held on December 24, but the proceeding was rescheduled for today following a postponement.

The final hearing on the case filed at the Kathmandu District Court is going to be held today.
Although the Supreme Court ordered an early judgment on Lamichhane, who was accused of rape, on February 27 last year, no decision has been reached so far.
Lamichhane is accused of raping minor Gaushala 26 on October 31, 2022. A case was filed against him in the same month, but the verdict is yet to be delivered.
