Filipino woman arrested with 3 kilograms of gold

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: A Filipino woman has been arrested with 3 kilograms of gold.

Chief of Tribhuvan International Airport Security DIG Arjun Chand informed Republica that a Filipino woman was arrested with about three kilograms of gold from Tribhuvan International Airport. According to him, the woman had come to Kathmandu via Dubai.

This comes in the wake of the arrest of Keshab Tamang a day ago from Jamune in Dolakha along with 3 kg of gold he was smuggling from China, according to a police source.
