"Naturally, Nepali people are not accustomed to the federal system. Hence, it takes some time to understand it," said Dahal. Similarly, Dahal viewed that a large section of Nepali People are not happy with the way the constitution was promulgated.
"A section of people who were dominating the mainstream politics in the past don't like this new system," said Dahal. Furthermore, Dahal stated that everything is possible in democracy if the public wants it to happen and urged all Nepali Citizens to be united and well aware of what is happening around. "We dethroned the King, introduced democracy and let everyone feel the power of general public" he added.
Meanwhile, Dahal also accused previous Kings of failing to establish the fact around the world that the Buddha was born in Nepal.
He informed that the present government has started a campaign to let the world know that the Buddha was born in Nepal. "Government is doing its best to protect and promote historic cultural heritages of Nepal," he added.
