CM of Province 2, 3 expands cabinet today

Chief Ministers of Province 2 and 3 have expanded its cabinet, today. Lal Babu Raut, CM of Province 2 appointed four ministers with three state ministers and Dormani Paudel appointed four ministers to give full shape to the cabinet. 

NC General Secretary Koirala underscores party unity

Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Sashank Koirala has said the party should be taken ahead with utmost unity. Koirala said so during a luncheon organized at his residence, Tokha, to extend best wishes to the members of House of the Representatives today. 

Arrest warrant issued against Biplav

An arrest warrant has been issued against  Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’. The District Court Bhojpur had issued arrest order against Biplav.

75,000 assembling at Tundikhel to recite 'Buddha was born in Nepal'

Around 75, 000 people are assembling at Tundikhel coming Sunday to recite, "Buddha was born in Nepal". World Record Holders' Council Nepal which is organizing the event shared this information at a press meet here today. The event will be a historic one in terms of the biggest number of people coming together to recite that "Buddha was born in Nepal" message simultaneously, Council Vice Chair Akkal Bahadur Tamang said.

Syrian government forces gain ground in Ghouta, militants shell Army

Syrian government forces and allied militias gained ground on Wednesday in clashes with rebels in eastern Ghouta near Damascus as fighting raged despite a Russian ceasefire plan, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported. The government forces advanced in the Hawsh al-Dawahiri area on the eastern edge of the opposition’s besieged stronghold, the Observatory reported.
