PM Oli off to PM Residence

Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli shifted to his new house, the Prime Minister’s Residence at Baluwatar today at 4:00 PM.Oli was unanimously elected the parliamentary party leader by his party on Wednesday.

Deadline of Narayangadh-Muglin will not be extended

Contractors demanding additional three years to complete widening of Narayangadh-Muglin road section is unlikely to materialize after Shalikram Jammakattel, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, declined an extension. The project, which was initially scheduled to be completed in two years, was extended for a year. With approaching deadline, contractors had demanded another three additional years for completion. 

Education Ministry seeking alternative body to continue work
 
The Education Ministry is to make a decision to continue the services provided by the erstwhile District Education Office as the Offices have stopped functioning in the new structure. The Ministry has forwarded options including running the work through District Coordination Committee, the establishment of new Divisional Office and establishment of an office in the province and local level. 

Road connectivity tops CM’s list in Province 3

The Chief Minister of Province 3 has prioritized improving road connection of all 13 province districts to the capital, Hetauda. Other priorities include access to clean drinking water, herb farming and tourism development. 

66 passengers, crew believed dead after plane crashes in central Iran

All 66 passengers and crew aboard a plane that crashed in central Iran on Sunday were believed to have been killed, state media reported. The plane operated by Iranian carrier Aseman Airlines crashed in a mountainous area near the town of Semirom after taking off from Tehran’s Mehrabad airport.3
