Affected by a long spell of drought, the farmers staged the mythical marriage to make the rain god happy. There has been no rainfall in Ayodhyapuri for the past six months.
The frog marriage witnessed every step that is followed in the marriage of humans. There was a bride frog and a groom frog, two people acted as the father of the bride and the father of the groom, there was a band, there was a wedding procession and there was chanting of mantras.
