The body of Man Bahadur Tamang, 21, of Kalika VDC in Kanchanpur district was recovered from a canal two kilometers away from the factory. [break]
According to police, Man Bahadur´s throat was cut by a sharp weapon.
Man Bahadur had started working in the factory in June. He had fallen in love with and married fellow factory worker Furwadevi Sherpa and the couple was living in a rented room in Sonapur.
According to Govinda Bajgai, administrative chief of the factory, Man Bahadur came to work until Tuesday. He suspected that Man Bahadur could have been murdered on Tuesday evening or on Wednesday. “He was a very loyal and hard-working man,” said Govinda.
Inspector Khadak Poudel informed that further investigation is going on into the murder as he thinks the murder was premeditated.
