The war materials were found from the house following a raid in the house after some documents related to Kirant Janabadi Workers Party were found from his house, said DSP Tek Bahadur Tamang.
A police team led by police inspector Shyam Babu Oliya seized the materials that were buried in a tank near the house. Police said the seized explosives were high-quality explosives. Police also seized around 300 meters of cloth used to make combat dress.
A group of around 40 masked activists associated with the party had attacked the Nunthala police post on Wednesday and made away with arms.
Police said a search for the Kirant activists involved in the attack has been intensified.
