Suman Pandey, president of Explore Himalaya said the responsibility entrusted by Ethiopian Airlines to look after their sales and operations in Nepal is an achievement to the company. “We will develop opportunities in near future to contribute to Nepal´s tourism industry,” added Pandey. [break]
The company said it will begin sales of tickets for passenger flights and cargo movement through interline arrangements within the next three weeks.
Euthopian Airlines is the biggest carrier in Africa with a fleet of 65 aircraft which operates its flights to more than 75 destinations in Africa, Asia, Middle East, Australia and the United States from Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia.
The airlines operate daily flights to Delhi Bombay and Bangkok from Addis Ababa. Ethiopian Airlines has been serving Nepal Army in transferring UN peace keeping troops to various African destinations.
