KATHMANDU, Oct 18: As Tihar begins, we can see gardens full of marigolds. Flowers that have been planted three months ago are now ready to pluck. People have been growing flowers in the district these days to decorate homes and weave garlands, especially during the Tihar festival. There is belief that Goddess Laxmi will bless if the house is decorated by marigold.
