Ex-state minister Lama joins UCPN (Maoist)

KATHMANDU: Two former CPN-UML Constituent Assembly (CA) members including a former state minister Lyarkal Lama have joined the UCPN (Maoist) on Tuesday.



Lama, who had resigned from the post of state minister for finance following controversy over his citizenship certificate, and Kashi Dolma Gurung, ex-CA member from Mustang district, joined the UCPN (Maoist) amidst a function held at its central party office, Koteshwore Tuesday morning. [break]



UCPN (M) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal welcomed them into the party.



Rishi Ram Sharma, a former Mayor at Baglung Municipality, also joined the UCPN (Maoist) on the occasion.
