As per the transit rights of a sovereign country, the supply arrangements should continue without any obstruction," said Nepal at a program organized by the party's publicity department. "We expect friendly and cordial gestures from our neighboring countries and friends," he added."We understand that every country has its own priorities and sensitivities. A country could be large or small, but sovereignty, geographical integrity and national unity as well as international and bilateral relations remain equally sensitive," said former Prime Minister Nepal.
He also urged all neighboring countries to understand the sensitivities of a country with more than 125 ethnicities, equal numbers of languages, various cultures and geographical locations of mountains, hill and plains as well as unique religious tolerance.
Meanwhile, Nepal urged the disgruntled Madhes-based parties to settle all disagreements through talks. "We don't intend to discriminate against anyone intentionally. Those who have problems should seek solutions through dialogues," said Nepal to the disgruntled parties.
"Protesting against people living in certain areas and using blockade to put pressue on the country would not benefit anyone. Whatever is going on in Madhes right now sends wrong messages. The agitating parties should stop all these unwanted activities and refrain themselves from those activities," he added.
He urged the agitating parties to stop inciting Madhesi people by creating rumors that they have been deprived of rights. "In terms of inclusion and proportional representation, our constitution is no less than any other constitution in the world," said leader Nepal.
