KATHMANDU, March 2: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the federal council of Janta Samajbadi Party Babu Ram Bhattarai returned to Nepal after undergoing treatment in India on Tuesday.
Earlier on February 21, Bhattarai had flown to New Delhi and was admitted to the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) two days later.
The doctors involved in Bhattarai’s treatment have concluded that the former Prime Minister Bhattarai is not suffering from neuro-endocrine cancer as suspected earlier. The doctors involved in the treatment have suggested Dr Bhattarai undergo surgery as soon as possible.
Bhattarai had developed a tumor inside his body.
