Ex-king, queen visit ailing son

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Former crown prince Paras Shah, who is undergoing treatment in a Bangkok hospital after suffering a massive heart attack last week, has shown a slight improvement on Thursday.



According to a source, Shah´s body can feel pain while receiving injections. His overall condition is, however, still critical but stable. A day earlier, he had spontaneous limbs movement when his body temperature was raised to a normal level. [break]



His parents former king Gyanendra Shah and and queen Komal arrived in Samitivej Hospital at 11:30 am, where the former crown prince is kept in the coronary care unit, and took note of his health. They also met with a team of doctors involved in their son´s treatment.
