The DPO on Sunday has been granted additional 15 days from the District Administration Office to carry out further investigation into the case.
The former CA member was invited to the DPO for discussions on a land dispute at Bariyapur on July 19. But, in the midst of the discussions, he verbally abused Superintendent of Police Lokendra Bahadur Malla and DSP Rabindra Regmi, the DPO said.
He has been also accused of mistreating the senior police officers on duty. The DPO has filed a case under the public office against him.
Kushwaha was the UCPN (Maoist) member in the first CA from the Bara constituency no. 2. In the second CA election, he contended from the Sadbhawana Party ( Mahato), but lost the race. RSS
