KATHMADNU, Nov 23: The Special Court has issued an order to release former Additional Inspector General of Armed Police, Rishi Dev Bhattarai, on bail.
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a graft charge against Bhattarai.
Justices Bhupendra Prasad Rai and Narendra Kumar Shivakoti at the Special Court issued the order that Bhattarai be released with a bail amount of Rs 2 million.
The CIAA had however charged Bhattarai of doing the corruption worth Rs 19.1 million. RSS
