Everest Base Camp ranks third amongst top 50 travel destinations for aspirants this year: Forbes

KATHMANDU, June 30: The world famous Forbes Magazine has identified Mount Everest Base Camp at the third position out of the top 50 travel destinations for this year.

KATHMANDU, June 30: The world famous Forbes Magazine has identified Mount Everest Base Camp at the third position out of the top 50 travel destinations for this year.


Based on its global search data, the magazine has recently published the world's top 50 bucket list trips that people want to experience the most, following a year of travel bans in many places across the globe with the risk of COVID-19. As per the list, a trek to Nepal’s popular mountaineering destination has been in the position after Burj Khalifa of Dubai and the Statue of Liberty of New York.

“There are six epic hikes in the top 50, including Everest Base Camp, Machu Picchu, Mount Kilimanjaro, Arizona’s Havasu Falls, Trolltunga in Norway and South Africa’s Table Mountain,” reads a report quoting Laura Begley Bloom, a senior contributor to the magazine.
