KATHMANDU, June 20: With the objective of expanding its network to every corner of the country, Everest Bank has opened a new branch at Sitapaila in Kathmandu. The newly opened branch was inaugurated by L V Prabhakar, executive director of Punjab National Bank, a joint venture partner of Everest Bank Limited, and a member of the Board of Directors of Everest Bank. Arun Man Sherchan (promoter director), Someshwar Seth (chief executive officer), and other senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion, according to a statement issued by the bank. The bank boasts of a customer base of about 0.95 million, whom the bank is serving via its 80 domestic branches, 7 extension counters, 28 revenue collection counters and 113 ATM counters.
