POKHARA, Jan 31: An engineer lost his life on Tuesday after falling from the lift of a house under construction at Lakeside in Pokhara.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Prabin Bhattarai, an engineer and resident of Pokhara-8.

Bhattarai, who had gone to test the water supply on the fifth floor of the under-construction house of a local Chinimaya Bhandari at Lakeside, suddenly fell from the lift. Bhattarai, working at Mukti Energy Pvt Ltd, was admitted to Gandaki Medical College for treatment after he fell from the lift and got injured.

The doctor declared him dead during the course of treatment, according to the Kaski police.
