KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has directed authorities concerned to make sure that there is no shortage in the services provided by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) during the festival.
While congratulating the high-level employees of the NEA, Minister Bhusal instructed them to work for the benefit of the common people and provide electricity services while celebrating the festival even though most of the employees will be on vacation.
“One should feel duty towards the service given to the people. The quality of service should not decrease despite festive season," Minister Bhusal said. Stating that people will be disappointed even if power goes off for a while, Minister Bhusal urged them to be cautious to prevent this from happening.
On the occasion, NEA Managing Director Kulman Ghising instructed the employees to continue their service even if there are some discomforts and be more active during such festivals. The high-ranking officials of the NEA were present in the program.
