Besides a few technical glitches and not so impressive sound system, the event saw Kathmanduites come alive to the music of The King.[break]
“I used to sleep with Elvis’s poster under my pillow when I was in my teen age years and I definitely had to come to see his impersonator perform tonight,” shared Shreejana Rana, Director CSR at Hotel Annapurna.
Fans like Rana who came to the event because they grew up listening to Elvis’s song, danced to the beats of Elvis while Bartlett sang songs like Heartbreak Hotel, Jailhouse Rock, Viva Las Vegas, among others.
The event started with the Prism band performing for an hour and half before Bartlett took on the stage.
