Eleven injured in Chitwan bus-truck  collision

CHITWAN, July 25: At least 11 persons were injured when a bus collided head on in Chitwan on Tuesday morning.

CHITWAN, July 25: At least 11 persons were injured when a bus collided head on in Chitwan on Tuesday morning. 


The accident occurred near Choudhkilo Bridge, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, along the Narayangadh-Muglin road.

The accident occurred when a bus bound for Muglin collided with a truck (Na 6 Kha 4942) coming from the opposite direction. All of the injured passengers were traveling on the bus at the time of the accident. 


The health condition of all the injured is said to be normal, although the leg of the bus driver is trapped in the vehicle. Authorities are working to safely free the driver from the bus.


The injured victims are receiving medical attention to address their injuries.


The Narayanghat-Mugling road section is now completely closed due to frequent landslides near Kalikhola. Commuters are advised to exercise caution and consider alternative routes until the road is cleared.
