LAHAN, Sept 25: Three persons were electrocuted in Ganeshman Charnath municipality-7, Portaha of Dhanusha due to short-circuiting of electric wires in a hotel.
The deceased have been identified as Shiva Kumar Mahato, his wife and another woman who was an employee of the hotel, Assistant Sub Inspector at Police Station Portaha Lal Bahadur Tamang told Republica Online.

According to ASI Tamang, Shiva Kumar was first caught by the electric shock. When his wife and hotel staff attempted to rescue him, they were also electrocuted.
They were found dead inside the hotel only in the late morning Wednesday.
Jay Kumar Paswan, a local complained that there is a routine problem of electric short-circuits due to a half dozens of illegal crusher industries in that area.
The locals are now protesting against the incident claiming that short-circuit must have been caused due to those crusher industries.
