Electricity leakage reduces to 45 percent

BHAKTAPUR, Oct 1: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Bhaktapur branch has been able to reduce electricity leakage by six per cent.



The electricity leakage that recorded 51 per cent in the NEA branch coverage area till before six months has gone down to 45 per cent now. [break]



According to NEA, Bhaktapur Chief, Madan Raj Chapagain, the leakage witness this fall when the Branch intensified its action as a campaign for the leakage control.



He further informed of the total electricity units of 960,412 supplied in the branch coverage area last month, 418,516 units was sold off and remaining 541,896 units was found lost.
