Man killed in road accident
DHANKUTA: A businessman was killed in a road accident at Hamela of Bodhe VDC in Dhankuta district Tuesday night.
Orange trader Dev Bahadur Giri of Bodhe-1 died when a pick-up van met with an accident while he was heading to Dharan from Bodhe.
Police said the vehicle (Ko 1 Ja 1233) crashed after it lost balance due to overload.
Assistant driver Rajan Khadka, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences at Dharan, according to Dhankuta District Police Office.
Youth found murdered
MAHOTTARI: The dead body of a youth was found beneath the bridge of Bighi River at Bagada-8, Mohattarai Tuesday evening.
Police said the body of an unidentified man in his mid 20s was found. He was murdered as his neck has deep cut injuries, said Police Inspector Nanda Lal Sah.
He said that further investigation into case is underway.
