As the clocks kept ticking away, Actor Anup Baral, who was in hustle and bustle for the preparation of the program, announced the audience that the program would begin in next two minutes.[break] All cameras were zoomed to the stage, waiting for Baral to air the show. But, suddenly, the lights flicked off sending the audiences whispering, “Oh! No, the load-shedding now.” In no time, a man appeared on the window of the restaurant and screamed aloud. And then two men chased each other through the stairs, screaming aloud, sending the guests at the event bewildered and confused.
But soon laughter echoed from the backstage and the lights were back. And Baral began, “Expect the unexpected.”
Phew! It was all a part of the program.
Cinema Nepal Entertainment released the poster and audio of its first movie venture “Ek Din Ek Raat – Expect the Unexpected.”
Produced by Nirmal Ratna Shakya and directed by Dev Kumar Shrestha, “Ek Din Ek Raat – Expect the Unexpected” will be released on December 17, Friday, announced the lead actors duo of the film Vinay Shrestha and Karma. The duo were last seen together in Simos Sunuwar’s “First Love.”
“This is Cinema Nepal Entertainment’s first step towards filmmaking in Nepal. We hope to make a difference in the Nepali silver screen, which has so far closed its doors to experimenting new ideas and implementation,” shared produced Nirmal Ratna Shakya.
Though the shooting of the movie was completed more than a year and half ago, the post production of the movie completed recently.
“We made sure that we leave no loopholes. We are hopeful that the young film goers will get to see what they were waiting for in Nepali films through Ek Din – Ek Raat,” Shakya added modestly.
The film casts Anup Baral, Vinay Shrestha, Karma, Diya Maskey, Pooja Lama, Gauri Malla and BS Rana among many others.
The preview ceremony also released the audio of the film, brought out by SAV Music and launched the official website of the movie ekdin-ekraat.com
