Eight major parties meeting in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called a meeting of ruling alliance and two largest opposition parties at his residence Tuesday morning. The meeting was called to discuss ways to end the continuing stand off in the parliament and to settle the row over new priest appointment in Pashupati Temple and fresh recruitment in Nepal Army. Representatives from all the ruling political parties and two largest opposition parties—Nepali Congress and Tarai Madhes Democratic Party—are discussing the issues.
