Five major parties meeting at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, April 19: The meeting between five major parties began in Prime Minister's official residence Baluwatar. PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal has summoned the meeting between the five largest parties in the parliament to discuss about the upcoming local level elections.

KATHMANDU, April 19: The meeting between five major parties began in Prime Minister's official residence Baluwatar. PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal has summoned the meeting between the five largest parties in the parliament to discuss about the upcoming local level elections.


Prime Minister Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam, RPP leader Deepak Bohara and Madhesi People's Right Forum (Democratic) Chairman Bijay Gachchhedar are attending the meeting along with other leaders from the parties.

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi, the leaders are discussing on how to bring agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front onboard the local level elections.


According to Nidhi, the leaders are also discussing about the possibilities of holding the local level elections in two phases.
