KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said that efforts are being made to bring the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) back into the government.
She made such a remark following a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.
She said that the government is not in crisis as the RSP has not withdrawn its support to the government. Minister Sharma further said that it is the right of any party to leave the government but political efforts have been made to bring the party back to the government.
Similarly, Minister Sharma said that the government’s attention has been drawn to the issue of farmers who protested by throwing vegetables on the street. She said that the problem has surfaced due to the gap between the market price and support price of agricultural produce and now the government is discussing how to solve this gap.
