Minister Sharma said the Nepal-China relation was based on mutual confidence and assistance. [break]
Addressing a program organized on the occasion of beginning of mutual assistance between the China Radio International (CRI) and Capital FM in the capital on Saturday, Minister Sharma said the Nepal-China relation was very intimate at the peoples´ level too.
He said the Ministry of Education has given permission for the Chinese language training from the primary level for promotion of the Chinese language and literature.
Sharma added that he was elated from the Chinese government´s pledge to construct the residential schools with complete facilities in the districts bordering China.
On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yang Haulan said that Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao´s Nepal visit held at the beginning of this year has added new dimensions to the Nepal-China relations.
He also added that the Chinese government was ready to extend its supports to Nepal for its development.
Similarly, vice-chairperson of CRI Wang Ming Hua said relevance and effectiveness of radio was equally important like before in the developing countries.
Wang also expressed his confidence that both the radios would play constructive roles for the expansion of Nepal-China cultural relations.
Likewise, chairman of Capital FM Prakashbabu Paudel said the FM would coordinate as a bridge for the Nepal-China relations.
