A total of 60 stalls were put up at the event. The fair in Pokhara not only had colleges from the lake city but also colleges from Kathmandu were present.
The program on the first day was a little disturbed due to the heavy downpour. The constant rain resulted in decreasing the expected number of visitors. A total of 50,000 spectators were expected to visit the fair.
The organizers however released a statement informing that, although Friday´s event did not go as planned, the schedule for Saturday, June 4 would remain unchanged.
The event will have the usual schedule and stalls. It is for the first time that the event has been organized in two cities outside the capital. The fair is to take place at Narayanghat later this month.
