As this kind of census is being collected for the first time, DSO is currently busy selecting surveyors. According to him, the census will collect data on industries, businesses, banks and financial institutions, co-operatives, yearly expenditures, employment rate among others.
According to the DSO, training will be provided to the surveyors from April 4 to 8. Details will be collected from the district level authorities and then sent to the CBS. Though the details will be collected by district authorities, analysis will be made by the central department. CBS is planning to study and publicize the details of the overall economic condition of the country for public awareness.
