KATHMANDU, May 9: The Election Commission has said the reporters bearing the Press Pass issued by the Department of Information could collect news of voting and vote counting.
EC Spokesperson Surya Prasad Sharma said that the EC has not issued any separate Press Pass to media persons to collect news of local-level elections. So, Press Pass issued by the DoI would suffice for this.
Journalists can collect news, visual and photos of the concerned polling centre as per the permission of concerned chief election officer, election officer, voting officer and vote counting officer on the day of voting and the vote counting. RSS
