EC scraps poll observation permit

KATHMANDU, July 10: The Election Commission (EC) on Monday scrapped the permit of Election Observation Forum charging its members of being involved in breaching election code of conduct during poll observation.

KATHMANDU, July 10: The Election Commission (EC) on Monday scrapped the permit of Election Observation Forum charging its members of being involved in breaching election code of conduct during poll observation. 



According to EC Spokesperson, the forum's observers Min Bahadur Thapa, Buddhi Bahadur Rokaya and Rammani Poudel were found involved in vote counting as party representatives.



Their misconduct were revealed when micro-monitors deployed from the election body caught them working as party's agent in vote counting in Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu.
