Talking to media persons at Rajbiraj this morning, Yadav, who arrived at his hometown after his appointment as the Election Commissioner for the second time, said that the EC was ready to hold election within third week of June if consensus was forged among political parties.[break]
He said that the EC was ready to hold the election free and fair on that date fixed by political parties and added that only the consensus among political parties is awaited.
Stating that there are some complexities to hold election, Yadav said that the complexities have been already sent to the Interim Election Council of Ministers to remove them.
He added there was also a need of additional laws to hold the second CA election.
Stating that collection of voters´ list with photographs started by the EC has reached to the final phase, Yadav said it would continue until April 28.
The Election Commissioner said that the collection of voters´ list with photographs has been completed upto 80 per cent and the remaining works would be completed by April 28.
